Position: Sourcing & Planning Specialist
Work Location: Across Singapore
Responsibilities:
- Communicates with suppliers to place orders, expedite deliveries, solve invoice discrepancies, revise pickup and/or shipping schedules, arrange returns, notify of complaints or rejections, obtain shipping and forwarding information, obtain pricing and availability information, and keeps specifications and/or catalog information updated.
- Communicates and works closely with all requisitioning departments and personnel to coordinate delivery schedules, provide order information, independently resolve invoice discrepancies, arrange returns, check receipts, and report availability projections and market conditions.
- Maintains Planning Parameters in MRP and Raw Material Specification Sheets.
- Determines material requirements from production schedules (MRP), obtains materials, and maintains inventory at planned levels while supporting planned product shipments.
- Responsible for sourcing, requisitioning and placing Purchase Orders for all Raw Material samples including R&D.
- Establishes rational inventory levels to support inventory turn of 3 times a year.
- Implements and monitors performance measurements for:
- Vendor Lead Time- 98%
- Purchasing Lead Time-98%
- QC Lead Time- 98%
- Material Availability= percentage of items available when needed by product line - 98%
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree
- Experience working in a GMP, biotech or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Experience with cGMP policies and procedures and ability to apply to the Supply Chain environment.
- Negotiation skills to be able to obtain cost reductions and favorable terms and conditions form Suppliers.
- S&OP scheduling/forecasting experience
- Production planning in a GMP, multi-product facility
- Familiar with SAP - PP module concentration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Strict attention to detail required.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
