Job Type: Product Manager (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing)
Work Location: Kuala Lumpur

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for pre-sales technical and branding activities, such as presentations on network solution, products introduction and participate in exhibitions and workshops.
• Act as solution consultant and lead network architect of optical transmission solutions (especially Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing - DWDM/OTN solution) for customer across the region.
• Support sales teams to develop competitive strategy/solution including strategic network model, feasible action plan and execution to achieve sales target.
• Build strong relationship with customer.
• Participate in project bidding for optical transmission product projects across South Pacific region. Involve in network solution, design, dimension, technical proposal write-up and SoC response.
• Perform market and competitor analysis, and develop competitive solution and strategy road map to effectively promote Huawei optical transmission products, seeking for DWDM new market opportunities and make new sales plan.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree qualification or above in Telecommunication or any other related field majoring in technical discipline.
• 5 years' working experience or above in telecommunication industry, be competent for product/solution manager position.
• Good understanding of telecommunications with particular skills in the area of transmission network. Strong technical knowledge of optical transmission (especially in DWDM/OTN product), network design, as well as microwave product.
• Experienced in technical sales and marketing skill, good communication skill with customer and presentation.
• Previous working experience of product/solution/project manager in other telecom vendor or telecommunication operator is an added advantage.
• Good command of English language, fluent speaker. Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is preferred.
• Team player, self-motivated, result-oriented and highly independent.
• Able to adapt frequent business travel.
