Position: Design Engineer
Work Location: Wichita, KS

Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be responsible to coordinate, schedule and follow-up all activities for detail design phase drawings. You will be responsible for the development of the new L85 design concepts required for Entry Into Service. You will be responsible to develop KPIs and to report the design development to management and highlight the roadblocks preventing the completion of the individual tasks leading to the TIA. You will represent the Engineering group with regards to all design issues and will be working in close relationship with Stress, Integrators and Suppliers.

Qualifications:

• You hold a Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 5 years experience in aerospace or airline maintenance.
• You are familiarity with the Structural Repair Manual and working experience in repairing commercial aircraft structures
• You have experience in Project Management or equivalent (management or group lead)
• You are familiarity with Bombardier CRJ product is a definite asset
• You are proficient with MS Office including Excel, MS Project, Power Point, Word, Access
• You demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
• You have the ability to explain complex ideas and you are able to influence others.
• You are autonomous and are able to work with a minimum of supervision.
• You are methodical with strong organizational skills.
• You are flexible and versatile and work well under pressure.
